I’m still smiling from the photoshoot in the park last weekend with the lovely Çan and Didem. They have known each other since they were in kindergarten and they are getting married later this year. #lobsters? 🙂 One of the photos from our shoot is going to be on their engagement card, I’m so psyched. That brings me to my big announcement:

I have been flirting with the idea of becoming a professional photographer for a while now and it seems like the universe is nudging me in that direction. I’m a sucker for happy endings and happy people and what I love even more than that is capturing moments that reflect that. So it’s official now!! Take a look at some of my photos from yesterday and earlier. I’ve been uploading some of my photographs onto this blog, but one of my friends recommended that I should look into creating an Instagram account to promote my work. She said that I would probably be able to reach more people on Instagram, so she recommended that I create an account as it would be good to show my clients my previous work in one place. That does make sense. She also suggested that I used a company like Nitreo to help me. Apparently, their services can help you with organically growing your instagram account to make it look more popular. My friend said that would look good from a client’s perspective, you wouldn’t want to hire a photographer with no followers or engagement. Perhaps social media is the next logical step for my photography career.

For now, my previous pictures are on my blog. If you like my work and if you or someone you know are looking for a fun photographer, holler at me and I’m all yours. I’m based in Atlanta, but if you are not here, that doesn’t matter. I’m a digital nomad and I like to travel, so hit me up regardless where you are. In fact, the further off you are, the better 😀 For the record, I do know that wedding and engagement photographers are dime a dozen these days but I hope and believe I can carve out a niche for myself someday. Without further ado, let’s get to the photos:

It seems like yesterday when we whisked an unsuspecting Shivangi for a “Christmas photo shoot” at Piedmont park. Meanwhile, Arnab (and the rest of the crew) set up camp by the lake. When she showed up, he got down on one knee and proposed 😉 It was magical. #tears

The following photos are from Sadaf and Sudip’s intimate wedding last year 🙂

Indians weddings are a whole new beast. The following photos were taken from my best friend’s super fun Bengali wedding two years ago.

I have a loot more to share but I’ll stop for now. What do you guys think? Would you trust me with your big day? 😉
