Two years of blogging and traveling!
Today, I’m celebrating my second blogversary *drum roll*. While I have not been half as consistent or as good as I want to be, it’s still shocking, embarrassing, and flattering at the same time that people read my posts. It truly makes my day when my post has inspired someone to travel to a corner of the world or experience something wonderful that they wouldn’t have otherwise. To see how far I’ve come in terms of blogging is weird. But in a good way!
Honestly, there’s so much to learn when you become a blogger that people don’t tell you about. For example, I can still remember setting up my very first website! I was so overwhelmed by all the different website designs and web hosting providers out there that I just did not know where to begin. In the end, I found that reading reviews online helped me to make the best decision for my blog. With this in mind, if you are in the process of looking for a web hosting provider and decide to check out some reviews, always remember to read the full review. That way you can be sure that the web host you are using is the right choice for your blog.
Growing your following can also seem tricky at first. Saying that though a friend of mine did recommend that I use the services that companies like upleap offer, in the hopes of building my online presence (especially on Instagram). There are other services too. For example, I’ve heard that some people also use link in bio to make sure their online socials are cohesive and responsive to change in whatever bio you change on whatever platform. So I guess that’s one aspect that I was helped with. But as everything else goes, doing your own research would come in handy to get your blog looking its best. It’ll take time, but it’ll be worth it in the end.
Being consistent is key too. Maybe I should look into new ways to reach more audiences to spread my wonderful message. My friend told me that she was seeing success with promoting her blog on social media like Instagram and building followers with services similar to socialfollow, helping you get more insta followers. But I digress. To me, travel is educational, enriching, and a great unifier. In today’s polarized world, we can all use some of that. Thanks to my tiny space in the web, I have made a few new friendships and bolstered old ones with bloggers and readers that I wouldn’t have otherwise. I’m so grateful! Once again, a shout-out and a big virtual hug all you guys for making a difference in my life. Here’s a peek at my first ever travel post.
